They managed to hack the devices during Pwn2Owncontest run by Trend Micro Zero Day Initiative (ZDI) The team has collected more than half the money offered as a prize to anyone who could hack the devices Nexus 6P and iPhone 6s. The hackers totally broke the security of Nexus 6P, hackers have combined two pre-existing Android exploits along with some other weaknesses in Android OS....

Google is rolling out a pretty major update to the Google Photos app for Android that makes it easier to navigate around the app. Additionally, the update also renames the weirdly named ‘Collections’ to a more understandable term: Albums. Google says to make navigation faster and easier, it has added a bottom navigation bar in the app that provides you with quick access to Assistant, Albums and Photos. The bottom bar, however, does not automatically hide itself when you start scrolling in the Photos app....

Google announced that it has started rolling out a software update for its Pixel Buds Pro. This firmware update adds an essential feature that Google showcased at the launch event and promised it’d roll out soon: a 5-band customizable EQ. The design and build of the 8 Lite have grown on us from the time since we did the First Cut article. One only has to use a smaller screen phone to appreciate how good it feels, a breeze to use as compared to the 5.5-inch screen phones that have become the norm now.
